1. What this site actually uses

This site keeps cookies and browser storage to a minimum. Currently, that’s three things:

• Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*, and similar). These help us understand how many people visit the site, which pages they use, and roughly where visitors are coming from, so we can improve the tool. Google Analytics only runs if you accept cookies in the banner shown on your first visit.
• Google AdSense cookies. This site shows ads via Google AdSense, which sets its own cookies to serve ads and measure how they perform. These are set and controlled by Google, not by us — see Google’s advertising cookie policy for the technical detail. Ads are requested as non-personalized by default, from your very first page view, which does not set the same ad-personalization cookies — that stays true if you decline, or simply never choose. They switch to personalized only from your next visit after you Accept in the cookie banner.
• A “you’ve paid” flag and your consent choice in local storage (technically browser local storage, not a cookie, but similar in effect — it stays on your device, not on our server, and only we read it). The paid flag is set after you unlock the full results, so returning to the site in the same browser doesn’t ask you to pay again; the consent choice is set when you accept or decline cookies, so the banner doesn’t show every visit. These two are essential to how the site functions and aren’t affected by the cookie banner choice.

2. Why we use them

The Analytics and AdSense cookies exist to understand and fund the site — analytics tells us what’s actually useful to candidates, and ad revenue helps keep the free preview genuinely free. The local-storage flags exist purely for your convenience, so a one-time payment isn’t asked for twice on the same device and you’re not re-asked for a cookie choice you already made.

3. Your choices

• The cookie banner. Ads show, non-personalized, from your very first page view either way. On your first visit, you can Accept (also loads Analytics, and switches ads to personalized from your next visit) or Decline (no Analytics; ads stay non-personalized). You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s cookies/local storage in your browser, which brings the banner back.
• You can separately opt out of personalized Google ads (while still seeing ads, just less targeted ones) at Google Ad Settings.
• You can block or delete cookies and local storage entirely through your browser’s own privacy settings. If you do, you can still use the free preview normally; you’ll just need to use “Already paid? Restore access” with your email if you’ve previously unlocked full results and your local storage gets cleared.

4. A note for visitors from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland

This site’s primary audience is NEET-PG candidates in India, and this policy is written mainly with reference to Indian law (see below). If you’re visiting from the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, be aware that the homemade consent banner described above is a good-faith baseline, not a certified consent-management platform — Google’s own publisher policies for those regions expect a more formal setup (e.g. Google’s Funding Choices) than a small independent site currently has in place.

5. Changes to this policy

If the cookies or tracking this site uses change, this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date above will change.
