- OBC: 17 institutes had an OBC closing rank; best 353, middle 797, last 1,719.
- EWS: 7 institutes had an EWS closing rank; best 539, middle 1,208, last 1,566.
- SC: 12 institutes had an SC closing rank; best 2,381, middle 5,104, last 9,329.
- ST: 8 institutes had an ST closing rank; best 2,313, middle 9,011, last 14,566.
Some institutes had reserved seats only in General Surgery in July 2026, with no open (UR) seat, so the counts above can be higher than the rows in the table.
