Chandigarh NEET-PG closing rank 2024
Built from the official lists of Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32 (GMCH-32).
A closing rank is the rank of the last person who got a seat. This page shows the 2024 figure for each college and branch in Chandigarh’s state counselling, for the open seats (stray rounds left out). It records what happened last year. It is not a promise for this year. Every number is an AIR (All India Rank).
Four years: 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Built from GMCH-32’s 2020 provisional list of selected MD/MS candidates (the only 2020 list; whether later rounds followed is not stated), its 2022 lists (first counselling of 4 October as Round 1, and the left-over round of 29 November, shown separately as a vacancy-round figure), the 2023 allotment lists for Rounds 1 to 3, and the 2024 lists for Rounds 1 and 2 (the revised second-counselling list of 24 December) plus the special round of 19 June 2025, which filled leftover UT Pool seats on All India NEET PG 2024 merit and is shown as a vacancy-round figure. Every list prints the NEET PG rank. Only UT Pool seats are shown, in General, SC and EWS. Institutional Preference (IP) pool seats, kept for GMCH’s own MBBS graduates, are left out, and so are seats after a seat-category conversion, PwD candidates and the 2022 left-over rows “other than IP/UT”. In 2025 every seat was an IP seat: GMCH’s notice of 6 December 2025, issued after the Punjab and Haryana High Court judgment of 26 November 2025, invited fresh applications for all 79 state-quota seats as Institutional Preference seats, open to MBBS graduates of GMCH-32. The 2025 allotment lists (Rounds 1 to 3, 16 December 2025 to 6 February 2026) therefore show only IP candidates, so 2025 is not an ordinary merit year, has no UT Pool figures and is not used for any figure on this page; the 2025 stray-round list prints neither pool nor rank. 2021 has only a name-and-subject admitted list. Only one college (GMCH-32) has PG seats in this counselling. Nothing here is guessed.
